From the Manufacturer
Learn code for the future
CoDrone introduces fundamental topics like conditionals, loops, and variables to teach you how to fly your drone. Learn to code at your own pace and see it come to life before your eyes. CoDrone makes programming fun, relatable, and real.
Light in weight, heavy in tech
The CoDrone only weights 40 grams, but packs a lot of technology in a small body. Inside each CoDrone is an accelerometer, barometer, gyrometer, and a special optical flow sensor to stabilize flight. CoDrone supports Bluetooth 4.0 for fast transmission and range control of up to 65 feet.

Coding is more fun when it moves and flies
Our mission is to make STEM education accessible, engaging, and fun for children. We do so through robotics by producing robotics education kits and providing educational lessons that teach core principles of engineering and programming. We hope to cultivate the next generation of makers, builders, inventors, and innovators.
About the Startup
Describe your product in 3 words.
Learn. Code. Fly.
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
There's something magical about robotics. In 2012, the founders of Robolink started teaching a small group of students how to build robots. Students and parents loved it, and we realized that there is a much larger shortage in the field of STEM education, which makes it difficult to fill the future STEM workforce. We brought Robolink's program to thousands of students in San Diego, including over 50 San Diego schools. Meanwhile, Robolink developed various kits to make sure our students were having fun while they learned.
What makes your product special?
We are the world's first educational drone. No other drone in the market directly addresses the need for STEM education with as much breadth or depth, while still remaining accessible and fun for children. Our products have been tested by our own engineers in various classroom settings with our very own students. The learning material is free and easily accessible online, taught by our own instructors.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
The best part has been seeing the smiles on our students' faces and hearing the parents tell us their children's favorite part of the week is programming and playing with our drone. It's immensely rewarding to know we are helping to nurture students for success in the future—that's what keeps us going.
